  • March 2024: Graduated from doctoral course on University of Tsukuba and Won the president award from faculty of human comprehensive science!
  • January 2024: Succeeded in Ph.D. defense!! Slide
  • October 2023: Our journal paper was selected as Special Selected Paper in IPSJ Journal Vol. 64 No. 10!
  • June 2022: One paper has been accepted at APSIPA ASC 2023!
  • July 2023: One IPSJ journal paper (in Japanese) has been accepted!
  • May 2023: One paper has been accepted at EUSIPCO 2023!

Yuya Yamamoto, Ph.D. (Informatics)

In 2024, I graduated Ph.D course at University of Tsukuba, and The Lab. for Sound and People with Computing, under the supervision of Prof. Nobutaka Suzuki, Assos.Prof. Hiroko Terasawa, and Assist.Prof. Hiroyoshi Ito.

My research interests include Machine Learning, Audio Signal Processing, Deep Learning, Musicology and Music Information Retrieval.

My dream is to make singing more fun.

Computational Musical Performance Analysis

I’m working on computational analysis of musical performance, especially in Pop-style singing. It is an interdisciplinary research, so I’m studying the following related topics,
